Job Description

Role: HR Advisor

Location: Accra, Ghana

Our client, a leading international security solutions group, which specialises in outsourced business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat is looking to recruit a highly experienced HR Advisor to join the team.

ROLE

Recruit, build and maintain a continuous recruitment pipeline for frontline employees in reltion to new business and existing vacancies to avoid shortage in the branch.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct exit interviews for all leavers.
  • Provide 100% assistance to employee engagement issues. ie pay queries, disciplinary and other work related issues.
  • Provide assistance with the Salam documentation and claims.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics such as retention rates and stuff turnover.
    Evaluate and update job descriptions.
    Conduct internal surveys to gather employee feedback and identify areas of improvement.
    Assist in organizing employer-branding initiatives.

Ensure all new recruit undergo Police vetting and filed accordingly.

Ensure personal detail information provided by all new recruits is accurate per policy.

Ensure all new hires undergo onboarding process effectively.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of basic administrative duties.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and practices.
  • Knowledge of applicable workforce laws, regulations and employment trends.
  • Conflict management.
  • High level of confidentiality.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills.
    Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management.
  • A minimum of 10 years proven work experience in Human Resources.
