JOB OPPORTUNITY – FINISHED GOODS WAREHOUSE OFFICER
Premium Foods Limited (PFL) is a leading Agro-processing company in Ghana located at EjisuKwaso in the Ashanti Region. PFL is looking for a well-organized individual with strong analytical skills to join the team as a Finished Goods Warehouse Officer.
Job Profile —
- To ensure that finished goods and other bi-products are stored in a cost-effective way.
- Responsible for ensuring that Products are stacked properly in the warehouses.
Location & Reporting Line —
The role is based at Premium Foods Limited, Kwaso Factory, Kumasi and it reports directly to the Finished Goods Warehouse Supervisor.
Core Job Content (Key Responsibilities) —
- Overall responsibility for ensuring daily finished goods stock position is up to date at all times.
- Ensure GMP in the warehouses are adequate.
- Ensure the necessary quality checks are carried prior to shipment to various customers.
- Ensure the right quantities of products are loaded on trucks.
- Ensure there is a daily reconciliation of products from packaging to the finished goods warehouse to minimise losses at the end of the month.
- Ensure stocks are properly stacked or arranged for easy counting during stocktaking.
- Check and count the products sent to the warehouse from production and ensure it meets specification.
- Ensure the quality and quantity of products are maintained whilst in the warehouse.
- Oversee and ensure that all Food Safety and HACCP principles are adhered to at all time.
- Ensure high level of safe work methods to avoid damages to equipment and machinery as well injury to staff.
- Have a fiducial relationship with the production, raw materials and quality managers to ensure smooth run.
- Undertake monthly, quarterly and annual stocktaking of all stock items.
Qualification, Work Experience & Key Competencies —
- HND Purchasing and Supply/Stores Management.
- Minimum of three (3) years working experience in food manufacturing a related field
- Good working knowledge in Planning, Budgeting and Organizing.
- Thorough understanding of Food Safety Management System and Safety Protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to take timely decision to minimise or eliminate wastages
- Ability to troubleshoot any challenge encountered at the warehouse in the course of sales.
- Ability to lead and manage people for success by coordinating with the production, procurement and sales team on site.
- Must have strong analytical and leadership skills

- Proficient knowledge Microsoft Office
