JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB SUMMARY

We seek to hire an experienced Production Manager/Engineer to lead our production units.

This individual will report directly to the Factory Manager and will work with the entire factory team.

This person will be responsible for setting of the machine processes, supervising factory workers ensuring they are performing their duties in an efficient and disciplined manner in accordance with the company’s quality, operational, environmental, health and safety policies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

Mechanical Engineering or similar Technical Degree

SPECIAL SKILLSET

• Injection moulding & blow moulding process parameters
• settings, material knowledge

LENGTH OF EXPERIENCE

• 12 – 15 years in similar role/field

Responsibilities:

• Supervising factory workers while they perform their duties efficiently and follow strict environmental, health and safety policies to ensure smooth and safe operations in the factory.
• Monitoring workers including handling disputes, rewards for excellent performance and disciplinary actions

• Monitoring operations including production activities, loading activities and goods movement to ensure all workers are meeting their targets.
• Monitoring workers shifts including start time, close time and shift handover.
• Training new and existing employees in the company’s policies and technical skills, environmental, health and safety standards.
• Performing all duties in compliance with relevant regulations and standards including ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management
  System).

Requirements.

• Technical skills in injection and blow moulding.
• Deep knowledge of production management and an understanding of quality standards.
  Ability to analyze figures and product results and ensure products meets quality standards
• Experience in personnel management – you will be responsible for a large workforce of people and so you must demonstrate excellent managerial skills
• Strong leadership skills – you will need to lead by example and motivate a large workforce to always perform their duties at the highest level.
• Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment – The company places a lot of importance on operational, environmental, health and safety requirements.
• Strong communication skills – you will be constantly communicating with the workforce and management in all matters of policies, training, and feedback.
