JOB SUMMARY

Accomplished financial controller with a proven track record in strategic costing, 10 years of experience in the field of manufacturing, expertise in IFS and Ghanaian tax regulations reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES

• Work on financial operations, with a strong emphasis on strategic costing and financial analysis.
• Assist in implementing costing strategies that drive business growth, optimize operational efficiencies, and enhance profitability. Collaborate with operational teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective cost control measures.
• Conduct comprehensive cost analyses, variance analyses, and cost allocation studies to provide actionable insights
• Assist in the management of cash flow, financial risks, and ensure compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards, including IFS.
• Apply your expertise in Ghanaian tax regulations to ensure accurate, optimized, and compliant financial reporting.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing company of 10 years in financial leadership roles, with a substantial focus on costing within manufacturing or related industries.
• Expertise in cost analysis methodologies, variance analysis, and cost optimization strategies.
• Strong understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with IFS and its application in financial reporting
• In-depth knowledge of Ghanaian tax regulations and their impact on financial operations.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
