Job Summary

We seek an Injection and Blow mould Supervisor who will help the Factory Manager, Production Engineer, and Quality Management Systems Manager in the supervision of the production team, ensure production that production is finished on time and maintain a good housekeeping policies on the production floor.

Responsibilities/Job Description

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of production workers.
• Manpower development and checking of absenteeism.
• Record hourly production per machine.
• Check hourly target per machine.
• Maintain good housekeeping policies on the production floor (cleaning all machines as well as the floor)
• Make requisition for raw materials and other needed items on the production floor.
• Resolve work-related problems and make recommendations to improve production and quality.
• Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Prepare production and other reports on time.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND or associate degree in any field of discipline, especially Quality Management or any related field. (Degree in Total Quality Management is an added advantage)
• Minimum of four (4) years practical work experience in a manufacturing industry.
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in English language.

Technical Skills

• Must possess good communication skills
• Must be familiar with starting processes of injection and blow moulding machines.
• Must have knowledge of material grades used in both injection and moulding machines processes
• Ability to identify problems and find remedies to solve same
• Ability to document processes.
