Position Summary

 

Nomad is looking for a talented Customer Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and expanding existing client relationships while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive company growth. This position requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and professional development in the fields of Account Management, Business Development, and Transport Operations.

Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to secure and coordinate attractive loads.
  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, serving as the main point of contact for all inquiries, requests, and issues.
  • Work with Operations team to ensure end-to-end customer satisfaction.
  • Assist Operations team with any customer operational issues to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Assist Finance team with any customer invoicing and billing issues.
  • Ensure that customer complaints are investigated and promptly resolved across all channels.
  • Prepare internal and external reports on account status, customer activities, and customer feedback.
  • Other duties as assigned to support successful Account Management functions.

Business Development

  • Research, identify, and approach potential customers to secure new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting and networking.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of effective¬†sales strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.¬†Conduct market research to identify potential areas for business expansion and keep abreast of customer preferences.
  • Prepare and analyze sales performance reports for Management.
  • Other duties assigned to support Business Development functions.

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree from an accredited university.
  • Previous working experience in business development, sales, and/or customer relationship management role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Must speak and write Proficient English.
  • Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
