AGA Health Foundation (AGAHF) hitherto called Ashanti Goldfields Company (AGC) Hospital and later Edwin Cade Memorial Hospital (AngloGold Ashanti Hospital) was established in 1st Feb 1930. It was renamed after the first CEO of AGC – Mr. Edwin Cade on the 30th of April 2003 by Dr Sam Jonah, the then CEO of Ashanti Goldfields Company
AGAHF is proud of its history and tradition. It is the preferred facility and held in high esteem by the local community. We remain faithful to the mission of our founders, and we are committed to the pursuit of providing excellent care now and into the future.
