Job Title: Finance and Administration Manager

Location: Accra, Greater Accra Region, Ghana

 

The Finance and Administration Manager (F & A Manager) will play a vital role in ensuring effective financial control and administrative operations within the organization. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong management skills to oversee the organization’s financial systems, optimize financial processes, and provide overall management of financial and administrative matters.

Responsibilities

Financial Management and Accounting:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Prepare accurate financial reports and statements on a regular basis.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Oversee budgeting, planning, and cash flow management.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Implement effective contracts management and financial reporting systems.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Ensure adherence to billing and collection schedules.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Update business policies and enhance the finance department’s procedures.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Manage bank interactions and review bank accounts regularly.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Maintain up-to-date accounting records and perform bank reconciliations.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Safeguard financial documents and manage external contracts.

Administration and Human Resources

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Develop HR and administration functions, including recruitment and training.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Establish a comprehensive training program for employees.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Foster productive relationships with external partners.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Oversee administrative operations and facilities.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Ensure legal compliance and statutory requirements.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Fulfill any other duties assigned by the Managing Director.

Qualifications & Requirements

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽ACCA or ICA(GH) qualification is required.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Minimum of five years post practical experience in a similar role.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA) Ghana is required.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽University degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Economics etc.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Demonstrated experience in relevant positions, including direct responsibility for staff and organizational budget.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Proficiency in Accounting systems.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Sound knowledge of financial management and control rules and practices.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
