JOB TITLE: ASSISTANT LECTURER (ACCRA)

REPORTS TO: Director of Studies

NATURE OF JOB: Full Time

JOB DESCRIPTION: To train course participants to achieve the Centre’s mission of building a critical mass of market-oriented ICT professionals

Educational Qualification (s) & Professional Membership:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or field(s) relating both with programming skills in; Microsoft.NET Platforms technologies especially ASP.NET and VB.NET
• Open Source Software Development and research knowledge in the PHP technology will be a plus
• Programming C, C*+ and Object-oriented technologies
• Some practical/field experience working on software or related projects

•  A master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field would be an advantage.

Experience Required:

•  minimum of 3 years post qualification working experience in a teaching/training environment

Competencies Required:

• Ability to design, develop and teach a course it. skills in Curriculum Review and Design ill. Competent in the use of online tools in teaching iv. Competent in the use of blended technologies for in-person
  and remote content delivery
• Skillful in delivering and facilitating competency-based learning
• Competent in managing a class of diverse orientation and experience.
• Ability to research into emerging technologies and reduce them into teaching modules
