Job Description
Task description:
• Manage networks, troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Administer servers, including Active directory tasks.
• Oversee file servers for efficient data management.
• Provide Tier I customer service and technical support to end-users for hardware and software systems
• Resolve routine end-user issues in a timely manner through established protocol and troubleshooting; escalate as necessary
• Provide guidance and explain policies and procedures to end-users
• Assist users in obtaining access to systems
• Assist in the set-up of new equipment and devices
• Resolve computer, networking, printing, hardware and software related issues through in-depth troubleshooting and technical assistance.
Qualifications
• Degree in IT or related discipline.
• CCNA OR MCSE
Experience Functional:
• At least 3-5 years’ experience.
• Ability to priorities under pressure.
• Good knowledge of server operating systems with particular focus on Windows Server 2008 / 2012 Active Directory.
• Good knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows) and associated hardware and software necessary to install and support users from an operational perspective.
• Good knowledge in CCTV Surveillance and also Access control systems
Technical:
• Microsoft Windows Server administration, Server Management
• Active Directory (Administration).
• Fiber Splicing skills (a plus)
• End-User Devices (Desktop / Laptop / Mobile Phone / Desk Phones)
• Understanding of Networking technologies and concepts.
• Good knowledge of CCTV Surveillance Systems:
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate across a broad spectrum of users.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.
