Description
The job holder oversees the organization’s technology-related strategies and initiatives. Plans for the company’s technological needs and addresses any tech-related problems.
Helps the company move forward with advances in technology and methods of processing and managing information. Serves as a leader and innovator for the company’s information technology department.
Responsibilities
- Align IT objectives and programs to enterprise objectives and strategies.
- Define metrics based on overall business objective.
- Report performance status
- Coordinate overall technology budget.
- Establish strategic service provider partnership.
- Align IT risk management with the enterprise.
- Optimize and design enterprise processes.
- Define and adjust IT standards and technologies.
- Shift decisions to enterprise operations
- Coordinate security and compliance audit
- Optimize cost of services through a mix of internal and external sources
- Coordinate IT processes across the enterprise
- Define standards and architecture.
- Manage all IT Projects
- Manage application portfolio.
- Plan and manage Strategic IT initiative.
- Align IT risk management with IT productive objectives.
- Acquire Software/Hardware
- Select, manage and control IT service providers.
- Control overall technology budget
- Oversees the development and testing of new programs developed.
- Ensures the company’s data remains secure.
- Oversee all cyber security threats and safeguard against them on an organization wide scale.
- Ensure tech systems and procedures lead to outcomes in line with business goals.
- Developing customer service platforms
- Establish IT policies, strategies, and standard operating procedures.
- Develop and approve technology futures and budgets.
- Adopt new technologies while ensuring low or no risks to the company.
- Developing IT strategies that dovetail with the business’s growth.
- Manage IT and development team personnel.
- Approve vendor negotiations and IT architecture.
- Create business value through technology.
- Establish regular maintenance.
Requirements
- Degree in IT or related field
- A postgraduate degree or professional certification in a business-related course is a plus.
- Must have 8-10 years’ working experience in IT services industry.
- Candidates must demonstrate outstanding Business Transformation Process
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication and people skills.
