Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Functions of the Appointment
  • Prepare the monthly management accounts by the 5th working day.
  • Consolidate the monthly income statements of all the various sites.
  • Prepare monthly business unit analysis and clinical division analysis reports.
  • Complete tax updates and indicate implications for operating business.
  • Ensure right Withholding taxes are applied based on type of good or service provided on all payments.
  • Provide finance business partner support to Takoradi Satellite.
  • Complete monthly accruals for Takoradi satellite by the 2nd working day.
  • Provide budget support to assigned departments, business units, divisions, and sites.
  • Prepare budget template for population by total business.
  • Complete annual pricing review with IT and Sales and Marketing
  • Complete interim price reviews upon request
  • Complete the annual review of Finance manual (accounting processes and procedures) for approval by appropriate authorities by liaising with financial analyst and financial controller.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree (MBA) or a relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
  • Professional membership from Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders and senior management.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and financial software/tools.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles and tax laws.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to lead the finance team effectively.
