Job Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Functions of the Appointment
- Organizes and plans the transferring process of materials and goods from suppliers and distributors to internal customers.
- Manages distribution operations between the suppliers and internal users.
- Manages logistics, contractors, warehouse staff, purchasing officers and transport clerks to ensure materials are stored correctly and dispatched to internal customers on time.
- Leads the Supply Chain Team by example to deliver year on year savings and qualitative improvements via exercising all elements of purchasing “best practice”.
- Manages external clients and customers to support the cost and commercial management of all projects throughout.
- Drives the customer perception of the Company’s Supply Chain department to that of an essential enabler of strategic delivery and a key driver of cost effectiveness, value, quality and efficiency
- Mentors and trains identified Supply Chain team members in the application of hospital contract management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 ears experience in a Supply Chain Management role with evidence of Category
- Management experience in the field of health and medical centres.
- Demonstrate experience of managing high value medical contracts
- Extensive experience in a variety of Procurement and Contracting models-familiar with using a range of contracting reimbursement models.
- Advanced negotiation skills and demonstrable awareness/understanding of dispute resolution tools and practice.
