Job Description

Job Title: Lead Project Manager

Company: Goldkey Properties Limited

Purpose of the Job:

Oversee project delivery from proposal through planning to completion, ensuring projects meet time, budget, and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and track specific projects with deliverables.
  • Develop project plans aligning customer needs with company goals.
  • Coordinate managers and technical teams throughout project phases.
  • Identify resource needs, manage capacity, and oversee software/hardware availability.
  • Lead project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality.
  • Manage and mentor the project team, fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including teams, contractors, and clients.
  • Monitor project budgets, control costs, and manage financial targets effectively.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans.
  • Establish project management processes to uphold quality standards.
  • Conduct project reviews and implement improvements.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders regularly.
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
  • Ensure projects comply with legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Promote continuous improvement within the project team.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance project efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years as a lead Project Manager, successfully delivering complex projects.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to plan strategically over 3–5 years.
  • Effective budgeting, financial management, and cost control.
  • Ability to manage project risks effectively.
  • Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work.
  • Site-based role.
