Job Description
Job Title: Storekeeper
Company: Goldkey Developers
Job Purpose:
The Storekeeper, reporting to the Logistics Executive, is tasked with efficiently managing incoming materials at the construction site. This role involves receiving, storing, issuing materials, and ensuring accurate documentation to support seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming materials and verify against Purchase Orders/Waybills.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in received orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the facility’s inventory system, including receipts, adjustments, and returns.
- Manage inventory levels within established parameters.
- Maintain detailed records of stock transactions.
- Oversee stock rotation and surplus disposal.
- Cultivate positive supplier relationships and uphold ethical standards internally and externally.
- Generate Purchase Orders (PO’s) and conduct low-value procurement using purchasing cards.
Qualifications:
- Degree/HND in Logistics & Supply Chain Management
Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in a similar role.
