Scope of the Role

As the Transport Officer at Asaase Radio Broadcasting Company Limited, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of personnel and equipment. Your role will encompass Transportation & Planning, Reporting, Compliance & Documentation, and Customer Service, contributing to the smooth operation of our broadcasting services.

REPORTING LINE: Transport Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Transportation

• Plan and optimize driving routes for efficient transportation of personnel and equipment.
• Coordinate with the scheduling team to ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs for staff and guests.
• Monitor traffic conditions and adapt routes to minimize delays.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and ensure the maintenance of a fleet of vehicles.

Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
• Provide regular reports on transportation activities, including any incidents or issues.
• Communicate effectively with the transportation supervisor and other relevant
  ecocriments
• Report any accidents, breakdowns, or emergencies promptly and accurately.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Maintain and update all necessary licenses and certifications required for the operation of vehicles.
• Stay informed about changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
• Complete and submit required documentation, including trip logs, inspection reports, and
  delver recelous.

Customer Service

• Provide a high level of customer service to staff, guests, and clients.
• Assist passengers with boarding, disembarking, and luggage handling as needed.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable environment within the vehicles

Qualifications and

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience Required

• Valid Driver’s License is pivotal for the role

• Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in a corporate or broadcasting setting.
• Familiarity with transportation planning and logistics.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety standards.
• Familiarity with radio broadcasting operations is a plus.
