Job Description
A leading multinational company that provides advanced technological solutions (brand protection, product authentication, supply chain security, excuse tax recovery and banknote authentication and fitness solutions) across the globe is seeking a Program Operations Manager. Reporting to the Senior Program Operations Manager, you will be expected to oversee and support the day-to-day operational activities and relationships of the business, collaborate and interface with various stakeholders (clients and local partners) and maintain client satisfaction by ensuring that contractual obligations are met.
Responsibilities
- Deliver company maintenance programs to ensure reliability and availability objectives are met.
- Train local partners and client’s team as required.
- Manage inventory levels of spares for instrumentation and equipment.
- Order spares as is required to ensure minimum levels of spares are held in country.
- Liase with relevant teams to ensure regular audits are conducted to collect and report key data for internal and external reports.
- Organize, manage, and control the organization’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) required for implementation and ongoing operations.
- Monitor and analyse marking and testing results on a daily basis.
- Interface with the Project Management Office and other internal departments as required to facilitate effective communication.
- Proactively monitor the performance of the deployed solution and take corrective action if necessary.
- Communicate project progress, timelines, status, schedules, risks, issues, and resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with corporate principles, values, and policies.
- Comply with health and safety policies and quality system.
- Travel within the regions, and occasional international travel to meet the objectives of the business.
Requirements
- Must have at least a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with Engineering, Chemistry or another technical related field preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience of working within the Oil & Gas industry in the same or similar role.
- Experience in the organization, drafting, implementation and enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Experience of working directly in fuel distribution including operations, logistics or auditing.
- Knowledge of procedures, standards, and applications of validation and safety procedures (e.g., COSHH).
- Experience with other downstream Oil & Gas activities including terminal administration or additive operations.
- Ability to manage Customer and partner relationships.
- Must have strong leadership skills and be able to manage teams effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills in dealing with various stakeholders as well as report writing skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, team playing and time management skills.
- Must be available to travel when needed.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Software suite (i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
