Our client in the Quick Service Restaurant (QR) business in Ghana is seeking an experienced, dynamic and results oriented persons with industry experience to fill the position of Procurement Manager.

As a key member of the Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, managing contracts, and ensuring that we are receiving the best possible value.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to ensure the efficient and cost-effective purchase of goods and services.
• Identify, qualify, and evaluate potential suppliers through market research and negotiation.
• Manage the procurement process from initial request to final delivery, including contract negotiation, order placement, and supplier performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Analyze procurement data and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Publish updated tracker for both Inventory & Project Items.
• Manage a team of procurement professionals and provide them with ongoing training and development.

Qualifications and Requirement

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Procurement Management or Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, 2nd degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement role, preferably in the food service industry or FMCG.
• Proven track record of achieving cost savings and improving procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working with a computerized procurement system.
