Vacancy – Store keeper
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Stores Keeper shall bear the responsibility of the smooth flow of goods in and out of the storage facility while maintaining accurate records and preserving the quality of the stored items.

Responsibilities
Receive, inspect and log all incoming stock and supplies
Binning, issue, dispatch and return of materials to and from the stores including tools and un-serviceable materials related to maintenance activities
Ensures that defective and incorrect items are returned
Attends to labelling, item categorization, and storage of items in a safe and accessible manner.
Maintains a comprehensive item register including their prices to provide instant information as required. (ERP System)
Conducts regular physical stock checking and stock taking and prepare stock report for management
Maintain documentation of materials and supplies issued.
Responsible for stock control of items in the store
Ensures that the storage areas are clean, organized and comply with all safety regulations

Qualifications
The interested candidate should have the following qualification
·      BSc Mechanical Engineering
·      BSc Accounting
·      BSc Statistics
·      Two (2) or more years of experience in stores management

Skills
·      Good knowledge of inventory management
·      Knowledge in Microsoft Office tools
·      Strong organizational skills
·      Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
·      Strong analytical skills
