A reputable pharmaceutical company is looking for a skilled HR Officer who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. You will be responsible for administrative tasks and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work.

Job description

  • Assist with the daily coordination of administrative and HR-related activities.
  • Assist in planning cooperate events for both staff and for corporate marketing purposes
  •  Follow up on renewal of regulatory licenses
  • Handle all administrative tasks for recruitment, onboarding, new hire orientation, promotions, transfers, terminations, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems.
  • Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters
  • Support the development of programs and policies geared towards improving employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage administrative and office operations.
  • Provide inputs for the development of HR policies and ensure their implementation.
  • Proactively contribute to the positive performance culture of the business, assisting with setting and managing KPIs, annual reviews, and subsequent improvement plans. Ensure that these staff performance reviews are done on time.
  • Develop and set systems in place to effectively control and manage documentation.
  • Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain professional relationships and works effectively with all levels of management and employees.
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance

Requirements & skills

  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability
  • BSc/BA in business administration, social studies, or relevant field; further training will be a plus
