JOB TITLE: HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER ( ACCRA)

REPORTS TO: Director, Finance and Administration

NATURE OF JOB: Full Time

JOB DESCRIPTION: To facilitate the recruitment, selection training and retraining, motivation and management of manpower at the Centre to achieve organizational goals.

Educational Qualification (s) & Professional Membership:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from an accredited tertiary institution
  • A post graduate degree in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development or Business Management and a Post qualification professional training.
  • Membership of an HR-related Professional Body is required

Experience Required:

  • At least 8 years relevant post bachelor’s degree working experience or
  • At least 3 years relevant post master’s degree working experience
  • Must have experience working in a similar role in the Public Service

Competencies Required:

  •  Public Service and the Legal Framework
  • Thorough knowledge of the Human Resources Policies and Procedures of the Public Services Commission
  • Demonstrable understanding of the workings of the Fair
    Wages & Salaries Commission of Ghana
  • Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the Labour Act of Ghana.
  • Technical and Technological Competencies
  • Ability to write HR Policies and SoPs
  • Industrial Relations
  • Ability to use ICT tools ill. Professional Competencies
  • Ability to spot, hunt and lead talents
  • Ability to coach and mentor talents
  • Ability to manage change
  • Ability to manage grievances and complaints
  • Ability to plan and organize people and processes for organizational efficiency
  • Be a team builder
  • Be analytical and a problem-solver
  • Ability to lead and communicate persuasively
  • Ability to work under pressure
