JOB TITLE: EVENTS OFFICER (ACCRA)

REPORTS TO: Director Corporate Affairs & Media Relations

NATURE OF JOB: Full Time

JOB DESCRIPTION: To oversee all aspects of event planning and management, including internal and external events, with experiences in planning, in exhibition and large business – to – business events. Also responsible for developing and maintaining strategies to meet organizational objectives, linking up and striking business relations with event managers and organizers

Educational Qualification (s) & Professional Membership:

•  Bachelor’s Degree in Event Planning and Management, Public Relations or Marketing or Management
• Additional degree or master’s in supply chain, Logistics, Digital Marketing, Customer Experience would an advantage

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Events Management, Public Relations or Marketing Competencies Required:
• Proven experience in planning and managing a wide range of events, from corporate meetings and conferences to social gatherings and product launches, li. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. lil. A strong creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize and design innovative event experiences that meet client obiectives.
• Proficiency in managing event logistics, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination, to ensure seamless event operations.
• Outstanding client service skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills to handle unexpected challenges that may arise during events, ensuring quick and effective resolutions.
• Famillarity with event marketing and promotion strategies to drive attendance and achieve event goals
