Department: Supply Chain Management

Job reports to:Supply Chain Superintendent

Job Purpose

Responsible for pre and post contract activities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved Services and works procurement are cost-efficient.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • repares. negotiates, and reviews call assigned contracts in a timel manner.
    Ensures contracts are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
    Assures all necessary clauses and details are included in contracts and implemented during the administration/management of the contract
  • Liaise with the Project Team (Project Controls) in management all assigned construction contracts
    Calculate, implement liquidated damages and other penalties in the contracts where applicable
    Draft and administer extension of time and manage variation register for the proiect

Negotiate with contractors to reduce costs.

Provide contract services for minor and major works / professional services as well as capital projects, ensuring that

documentation and insurance regulations are rollowed

Perform any other related duties based on the exigencies of the Company as assigned by the Supervisor

Required Skills or experience

Minimum qualification (s)

  • B. Tech/Degree / Higher National Diploma in Building Technology with additional qualification in Supply chain Management

Experience Minimum 

  • 5-7 vears of working experience as a Contract Administrator. Quantitv Survevor or in a similar
    position

Knowledge (In-depth)

  • Fundamental knowledge of construction techniques. building materials. standards and equipment.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret legal documents, financial reports and technical documents
  • Ability to apply arithmetic concepts such as tractions. ratios and proportions to real scenario
  • Basic understanding of purchasing and supply chain procedures.
  • Good understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and occupational. safety and environmental regulations and laws

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to install calibrate. program. and maintain diverse instrumentation and contro equiomen
  • Strong commitment to timelines, accuracy and professionalism.
  • Effectively handle multiple concurrent demands.
