A reputable Steel Fabrication company in Accra is recruiting for an accountant.

Key responsibilities;
Creates and maintains a reliable supplier pool
Procures items from suppliers
Negotiates terms of trade and payment with suppliers
Monitors, reviews and reports on receivable collection activities
Reviews transaction posting for arithmetic, classification and posting accuracy
Reviews and approves requests and items for inclusion in daily budget
Reviews reports and defends daily budget with Group Accountant
Supervises funds disbursements and compiles related reports
Collates information to support budget preparation
Monitors and audits financial transactions and fixed assets of the company

Requirement;
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/B.com or related field
A professional qualification in Accounting (ICA or ACCA partly qualified) will be an added advantage
Minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience in a similar position
Good communication and negotiation skills is required
