Vaal Real Estate Ghana is looking to hire the services of a General Ledger Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and lead the general ledger team, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial ansactions.
• Oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Generate accurate and comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure the proper reconciliation of general ledger accounts, investigating and resolving any variances or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing documentation and support for audits as needed.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in general ledger accounting, with 5 years in a supervisory role preffered, and Real estate or construction experience necessary.
• ACCA or CA or relevant professional certification is preferred.
