RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide strategic financial leadership to the accounting department, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and oversee the preparation of accurate and timely tax filings.
• Manage and optimize cash flow, including monitoring cash balances, forecasting cash needs, and implementing cash management strategies.
• Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, coordinating the annual audit process and ensuring timely completion.
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
• 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with significant experience in a leadership position.
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance, Real estate or construction experience required.
• Proven experience in managing and developing finance teams.
