Recycle Up! Ghana is currently seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to join our finance team and contribute to the overall financial health and success of our organisation.

Responsibilities: As a Financial Officer at Recycle Up! Ghana, you will be responsible for a range of financial activities to ensure the efficient and effective management of our finances.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with the Senior Finance Officer to develop and monitor annual budgets.
Generating and analysing financial reports, providing insights to support decision-making.
Overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and accounting principles.
Conducting financial analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Managing cash flow and optimising cash utilisation.
Assisting in the development of financial strategies to support organisational goals.
Coordinating with auditors during financial audits.
Providing recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies.
Liaise with project officers to procure relevant project logistics and supplies on-time
Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material as well as other project related procurements with attention to budgetary constraints
Manage and keep record of all assets under Recycle Up! Ghana
Support organisation-wide activities, events, and campaigns actively and as needed.

Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience of at least two years as a Finance Officer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
Proficiency in financial software (eg. Quickbooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
