ABOUT COWTRIBE
Cowtribe is addressing a critical challenge in Africa. In a landscape where farmers often turn to livestock as a form of savings, the impact of livestock diseases, leading to an annual income loss of $2bn, is devastating. With inefficient supply chains and limited access to quality vaccines, farmers are caught in a cycle of poverty. This is where Cowtribe steps in. As Africa’s first vaccine distribution platform, we bridge the gap between vaccine manufacturers and smallholder livestock producers. Our comprehensive approach includes a proprietary platform for demand aggregation, a distribution network leveraging local agrovets, direct manufacturer relationships for cost-effective vaccine supply, advanced logistics for wide-reaching delivery, and a layaway system for financial planning. Our impact is significant and growing – with over 35 million vaccine doses delivered, impacting the lives of 15,000 farmers. Our vision is clear: deliver 100 million doses by 2025, transforming the livelihoods of 50,000 smallholder farmers.
