As we expand into the built environment, we are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Administration Officer to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

 

Position Overview:

The Finance and Administration Officer will play a crucial role in managing financial and administrative functions within the organization. This multifaceted position requires a candidate with a strong background in finance, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management:
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  1. Administrative Oversight:
  • Oversee general administrative tasks, including office management, travel coordination, and vendor relationships.
  • Implement and maintain efficient administrative processes to support company operations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
  1. Tech Industry Compliance:
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the tech sector.
  • Ensure adherence to financial and legal standards in all financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with external auditors as needed.

 

 

  1. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
  • Work closely with the technology and project teams to understand financial implications of projects.
  • Provide financial insights to support resource allocation and project planning.
  • Foster effective communication between finance, administration, and other departments.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in finance and administration roles, preferably within the tech industry or built environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience with financial software or tools used in the industry.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations or compliance standards in the tech or electronic security industry.
