Role & Responsibilities:

• Install, connect, and test electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures following electrical codes and standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems to identify and resolve issues before they lead to failures or accidents.
• Replace or repair faulty components, such as circuit breakers, switches, outlets, and motors.
• Diagnose electrical problems using testing devices and troubleshooting techniques to pinpoint the root causes of malfunctions.
• Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning components, such as fuses, relays, transformers, and capacitors.
• Identify and rectify issues related to circuit overloads, short circuits, and ground faults.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to understand the layout and connections of electrical systems.
• Use testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and voltage testers to measure and verify the performance of electrical systems.
• Calibrate and adjust electrical equipment to ensure accuracy and optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and professionals to coordinate projects and address complex electrical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, replacements, installations, and maintenance tasks.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members, especially in cases where electrical expertise is required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager.
