CompEx Certified Technician

Role Description

This is a contract role for a CompEx Technician (Local) at Mansa Engineering Limited. As an Technician, you will be responsible for performing electrical equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance in hazardous areas. This on-site role is located in Takoradi, Ghana. This is a short-term contract with potential for extension based on performance and suitability.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a CompEx Technician or a similar role
• Valid CompEx Certification (Ex01-Exo4) (Must have requirement)
• Valid BOSIET, IMIST,OGUK or related certificates (Must have requirement)
• Experience in electrical equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance in hazardous areas
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to electrical work Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Evidence of strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
• Ability to work well in a team and independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in engineering principles and practices
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
