Competence (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities)

  • Knowledge of all local regulations and compliance requirements related to employee compensation.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including Excel.
  • Proven ability to communicate and effectively “sell” an organization’s value proposition.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as marketing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with senior management.
  • Strong customer service, negotiation skills, and ability to interact with employees at all levels throughout the company.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to take initiative without established guidelines and procedures using independent judgment. A high degree of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience with collecting, analyzing, reporting, and presenting data.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, human resources, or related field and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in employee compensation
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations as they apply to base compensation and incentive compensation programs, company policies, and operations.
  • SHRM- CP /PHR Certification, ACIHRM is a plus.
  • Compensation professional credential or payroll management certification is a plus.in person
  • Key Task

Compensation Management

  • Provide advice to staff on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
  • Assist in designing creative solutions for specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the integrity of the company’s salary administration program by using appropriate compensation practices and excellent quality-driven methods to produce reports, research, salary projections, and calculations, among others, to ensure job analysis, salaries, and ranges are internally equitable and externally competitive.
  • Participate in salary surveys and analyze data from survey sources to determine competitiveness both internally and externally.
  • Carry out analyses involving the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs.
  • Conduct Human Resource analytics, data analysis, and interpretation of trends to support proactive planning.
  • Design and prepare ad hoc compensation and budget-related reports for your manager.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual merit increase, incentive programs and budgeting.
  • Assist in analyzing data and relevant market trends and developing salary structures and market pricing recommendations.
  • Enhance knowledge of market relativity through conducting wage surveys, job pricing, benchmarking, market analysis, and analyzing internal data.
