  • Minimum 1st degree, Master is Preferable
  • 4 Years minimum banking experience preferable in a Business Development  environment
  • Knowledge and experience of Banking/Financial services, preferably in the Business Banking space

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Researching prospective clients in target markets
  • Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients
  • Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
  • Cross-selling the full suite of bank products

KEY RESULT AREAS

  • Manage and grow the Bank’s income from a portfolio of predominantly Business Banking customers by deepening relationships and delivering high quality service.
  • Creating development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projections.
  • Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking, and channels.
  • Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationship.
  • Liaising with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies.
  • Preparing financial projections and sales target.
  • Attending event such exhibitions and conferences.
  • Preparing Sales presentations and participating sales meetings.
  • Producing reports to Head, Business Banking Manager
  • Establish strong working relationships with all key internal stakeholders to help drive the overall strategy of the bank.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with the Clients assigned to ensure that the strategy and business objectives of the Client and the Bank are achieved.
  • Maximize all cross-selling opportunities to increase the penetration of products.

6. RISK AND COMPLIANCE

  • Ensure prompt and adequate compliance responses to Sanctions and AML/CFT enquiries sent in by Compliance department.
  • Take part in all annual mandatory refresher training organized by Compliance.
  • Report all suspicious or fraudulent activities to Compliance or via whistle-blowing toll-free line.
  • Ensure all accounts opened are KYC compliant or appropriate escalations have been followed.
