Business Development and Sales Associate
Solar Taxi is an E-mobility company providing affordable and sustainable transportation/mobility solutions for the modern Africans. The company design and locally assemble electric vehicles ( Bikes, Tricycle & Cars), sells/rent/lease, provide charging points and maintenance for electric vehicles. Solar Taxi is African’s premier company to commercialize electric vehicle for large scale adoption and its on track to provide 10 million EVs by 2030.
Job Description:
As a Business Development and Sales Associate at Solar Taxi, you will be responsible for driving revenue, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients which involves understanding their needs, providing solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and expanding the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and evaluate customer needs
- Actively seek for new sales opportunities through cold-calling, networking and social media
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales data
- Participate on behalf of Solar Taxi in exhibitions or conferences
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
Qualifications:
- Proven 3 years or more experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Fast learner and passionate about sales
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
