Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Projects Engineer at Mans Engineering Limited. The Sr Projects Engineer will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects and leading a team. The day-to-day tasks include managing the project lifecycle, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring project deliverables are met, and providing technical expertise. This is an on-site role located in Accra, Ghana.

Work scope will cover Business Development. Engineering Leadership, Project Management. Local Content Coordination among other leadership functions.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Work effectively with Company’s division and business lines including engineering to continuously improve and adjust product lines and services to deliver quality
• Proactively drive the technical value engineering of projects and lead technical negotiations as a member of the Business Development team.
• Use technical understanding and background in upstream oil & gas to act as basis for development of critical product/service knowledge in turning customer driven requirements into profitable solutions. Business Development
• Ensure commercial proposal/POs meet technical and commercial enquiry as per clients qualification and follow ups on same.
• Oversee and manage variation orders and communicate of same to clients
• Responsible for Project Services Coordination including tender out. perform technical evaluation, reports & recommendation.

Qualifications

• Engineering Management and Project Management skills
• Business Development & Sales experience is a plus
• Professional membership or accreditation eg. PM is an added advantage
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Experience in software development and integration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Experience in the mining, or energy industries
• More than 10 years’ experience in oil and gas.
