Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized individual to join our team as a Transport Coordinator. The Transport Coordinator will play a pivotal role in overseeing administrative tasks, strategic planning, cost control measures, and contributing to the business development initiatives of our Transport Division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule transportation activities, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
• Monitor and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to schedules.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize transportation routes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage administrative tasks such as maintaining transportation records, preparing reports, and handling documentation.
• Implement cost control measures to minimize expenses while maintaining service quality.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans for the Transport Division.
• Identify business development opportunities and participate in client acquisition efforts.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to enhance business partnerships.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in transportation coordination, preferably in the logistics or shipping industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using transportation management systems and software.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Sound knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
