Trainee, Accounting & Audit

As a Trainee, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audit planning and fieldwork.
• Bookkeeping and preparation of monthly reports for clients.
• Analyze financial statement accounts and report on trends and reasonableness.
• Perform walkthrough, assess and document the effectiveness of the design and
  operating effectiveness of controls and propose recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain working papers and client files.

Requirements

• At least one (1) year practical accounting experience with a reputable accounting and audit firm.
• Completed National service within a controlled work environment.
• A Second-class Degree in Accounting/ Economics/ Mathematics and related fields. o Student or partly qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a Team.
• Ability to work with Microsoft tools is an added advantage.
• Attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
