Job Description

SALES & MARKETING MANAGER

The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for marketing activities online, billboards, TV, Radio stations and selling of products & services by providing first-class service in other to boost sales. He/she acts as an intermediary between Jogobu company and clients. To meet this objective, the Sales & Marketing Manager identify potential opportunities, validate the opportunities, establish marketing/pricing strategies, and close sales deals. The objective of this role is to improve sales, increase market share and brand preference.

Responsibilities:

  1. Online Posting/Advertising of company products and services on (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram & X, etc)
  2. Arranging of traditional advertisements (Radio, Tv, Newspaper & Billboard’s)
  3. Organizing of Seminars, Workshops, Company Event’s, and Marketing Campaigns
  4. Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials and sending of weekly marketing mails.
  5. Maintaining and Updating Customer Mailing List
  6. Prospecting and Visiting of Clients
  7. Daily / Weekly leads generation (minimum of 2 validated leads per day/ 10 per week)
  8. Ensuring monthly sales targets are met
  9. Weekly / Monthly reporting on leads and generated sales to management
  10. Engages in superior customer service by exhibiting excellent communication, collaboration, team building and leadership skills.
  11. Demonstrating products and services as deemed necessary by management to clients.
  12. Answers questions from clients through inbound and outbound calls.
  13. Cold calling to leads
  14. Research client base to find new types of customers and sells to them accordingly
  15. Creates a plan for gaining customers and then retaining them
  16. Analyzes and creates a plan for engaging the target market
  17. Adhering to company procedures and processes
  18. Ad hoc activities as assigned by management

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Strong Digital Marketing Skills
  • Excellent in English (verbal & writing)
  • Experienced in B2B sales and marketing environment
  • Good Communication Skills; Demonstrable experience of communicating effectively with others, in person or over the phone; ideally experience of direct sales or tele sales.
  • Experience in effectively influencing people using your excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Results driven attitude
  • Ability to do extra hours if required
  • Non 9 to 5 mentality
  • Educated to degree level
  • Confident communicator with good listening skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • A good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word. Excel &PowerPoint)
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Time consciousness and good planning skills
  • Flexible and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently without or with minimum supervisory.
