Our client, one of the leaders in the automobile industry, is seeking to employ the services of a Sales and Marketing Officer in a senior role to drive the Sales and Marketing of their automobiles.

 

Job Title            :       Sales and Marketing Officer

Nature of Job     :       Full time

Job location       :       Accra, Ghana

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

·      Market analysis

Ø Conduct market research projects across all regions in Ghana and also across borders (some specific foreign countries).

Ø Forecast market trends, research market to identify new opportunities and setting specific marketing goals.

Ø Perform competitor product and selling price analysis

Ø Responsible for planning sales and promotional activities with Distributor to improve and increase sales volumes.

·      Prospecting

Ø Develop a comprehensive prospect list and prioritize leads based on potential value and strategic fit.

Ø Responsible for planning sales and promotional activities with Distributor to improve and increase sales volumes.

Ø Responsible for discussing and negotiating with Distributor in regular meetings.

·      Presentation and Communication

Ø Effectively communicate with Distributors and Customers to solve problems that may arise.

·      Relationship Management

Ø Build and maintain strong relationship with Distributors and dealers.

Ø Provide support an act as liaison between internal teams and Distributors

·      Reporting and Analysis

Ø Prepare regular report on market insight and trend analysis.

Ø Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE 

 

·      Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies/Administration/Commerce, or Master’s Degree or any certification in Marketing.

 

·      Minimum of 3 years work experience Sales, Marketing, Business Development or similar role or industry.

 

REQUIREMENTS

·      Excellent written and verbal communication in English, French (business level) multilingual will be an advantage

·      Team oriented and ability to work independently

·      Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize.

·      Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

·      Organizational skills

·      Result oriented

·      Attention to details and active listener

·      Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

·      A good understanding of the automobile industry globally and in Ghana will be a plus.
