Job Description
The Recruitment and HR Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Human Resources department by assisting with recruitment processes, maintaining employee records, and providing administrative support. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting job descriptions and advertisements.
- Coordinate job postings on various platforms and websites.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
- Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist with conducting reference checks and background screenings.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation materials, and training schedules.
- Coordinate orientation sessions and ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Assist in the development and implementation of onboarding programs.
- Process employee documentation such as contracts, offer letters, and terminations.
- Assist with HR-related inquiries and provide support to employees regarding policies and procedures.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Assist in updating and communicating HR policies and procedures to employees.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment and HR administration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources,
- Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in recruitment, HR administration, or a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
- Familiarity with recruitment techniques and best practices is an asset.
