One of the leading NGO’s in Africa dedicated to advancing global education and financial inclusion is hiring a PROGRAMME MANAGER.

Job Purpose:
The Programme Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the successful planning, execution, and evaluation of the organization’s programs. This position is responsible for leading the development and expansion of program initiatives, ensuring they align with the NGO’s strategic objectives. The ultimate goal is to contribute to positive change in the area of focus by effectively managing and implementing impactful programs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and expansion of program initiatives in line with the organization’s strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for new program development.
• Oversee the effective execution of programs, ensuring activities are on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
• Establish robust monitoring and evaluation systems to track program progress and impact.
• Manage program budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
• Coordinate with fundraising teams to secure funding for existing and new initiatives.
• Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with governmental agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare comprehensive and timely reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s degree in in Business Administration or equivalent professional training.
• Proven track record of at least 5 years in program management within the NGO sector.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
