Food Production worker

Description

We are looking for a hard-working production worker to assist in the manufacturing process. The Production Worker is in charge of keeping the production area clean, preparing machinery and equipment for use, working the production line as instructed, and strictly following health and safety guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive food items and ensure appropriate cleaning and storage

• Operate food processing equipment

• Ensure that all raw food items received are of good quality.

• Participate in packaging and assembling food items

• Ensure that food products are processed and prepared by following standards of cleanliness and hygiene

• Perform preventative and general maintenance on food production equipment

• Clean floors to ensure a safe working environment

• Perform duties on the packaging line by loading and adjusting items

• Label packaged food items appropriately

• Monitor quality and quantity of food items

• Prep grains, fruits and vegetables including sorting, cleaning, peeling and cutting.

• Properly package, weigh, and label to go products according to weights-and-measures standards.

• Organizing, maintenance and daily cleaning.

Requirements:

●       Training in Culinary Arts, Experience, Works Quickly, Physical Stamina, Flexible Schedule, Strong Communication, Organizational Skills, Team Mentality, Leadership Skills

●       Previous experience working in a factory is beneficial.

●       Experience operating manufacturing machinery.
