Phyto-Riker (GIHOC) Pharmaceuticals Ltd  is hiring a Packaging Officer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinates the work of supervisors – order preparation. primary packaging I.e. blister, granule filling bottle filling and secondary packing to achieve the effective utilization of plant assets including: Safety, Quality, GMP’s. Productivity. cost.
• Checks and ensures that all operational rooms, equipment and machinery are cleaned to current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMPJ and other international standards.
• Ensure that thermo-hygrometers are calibrated according to SOP and documented as such.
• Manages line efficiencies , Key performance indicators and down time.
• Ensures that all operations are done according to the standard operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Provides inputs in the review of all documents concerning activities such as Packaging work Orders, Inventory Records, Transfer Records and Annual Appraisal Records of staff performance

Educational Qualification and Relevant Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Science/Pnarmaceutica1 Technology or related area (B. Pharm/ B.Sc. Plus s years· experience in a pharmaceutical or related industry.

Additional Requirements:

• ICT SKILLS

• REQULATORY Knowledge: CGMP requirement and ISO 9001 is a strong PLUS.

• People’s Skills·

• Performance Management: to be able to implement tactics to achieve plans and objective set by department. Ability to initiate and contribute new ideas for continuous improvement.
