Role: B2C Operations Coordinator – Delivery

About the position We are looking for an experienced operations coordinator to assist in implementing the right processes across the unit to enable business growth. The ideal candidate will strive to assess the unit’s operational methods and propose ways to improve them.

Responsibilities

• Review customer orders and plan and coordinate delivery activities
• Build productive working relationships with drivers and delivery teams for business growth.
• Review and schedule loading teams activities to meet the delivery targets for the day.
• Analyze and troubleshoot delivery issues in a timely fashion.
• Manage a delivery team to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.
•  Oversee daily activities of the delivery team and provide direction and guidance as needed.
• Perform resource allocations (driver and delivery agents) and workload assignments according to delivery requirements.
• Evaluate the performance of team members and determine training needs.
• Analyze customer orders, set delivery priorities, and make schedule adjustments to meet timely delivery goals.
• Develop process improvements to achieve cost effectiveness and time saving.
• Make critical business decisions to meet customer expectations.
• Report delivery status reports to the Operations Manage and develop required delivery documentations.

Criteria / Requirements / Qualifications

• BSc in operations or supply chain management or business administration
• A minimum of 3 years proven experience in logistics or similar role
• Previous experience as an operations supervisor or similar role
• Hands-on experience implementing operational processes.
• Excellent project management skills
• Knowledge of operational principles and policies
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Team leadership
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
