Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Mechanical Engineer Graduate Trainee to join our team. As a Graduate Trainee, you will play a key role in the development and enhancement of our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of mechanical strategies and plans for our products, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and sales targets.
  • Participate and provide technical expertise and guidance.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes and services. Must have critical thinking and strategic abilities.
  • Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
  • Participate in the planning and negotiations with role players and arrive at a win-win situation in the best interest of the organization and negotiating party.
  • Interface with Managers and staff at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • BSc in Mechanical or a related field.
  • HND in Mechanical Engineering

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including statics, dynamics and thermodynamics.
  • Exposure to mining, construction or any manufacturing field where it is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results on time.
  • Customer Service and Team orientation abilities, highly required.
  • A computer literate especially with Ms Office Suite and the Internet.
  • Ability to be firm and maintain confidentiality at all times in dealing with situations.
