Production Manager / Coordinator (Carpentry)
A Kitchen manufacturing and interior design company based in Accra is looking for a qualified and competent Production Manager /Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process of furniture manufacturing. The role requires a strong understanding of furniture production, from raw materials to finished products, and the ability to coordinate various teams to ensure efficient and timely completion of production tasks.
Responsibilities (but not limited to)
- Planning and organizing production schedules based on customer demand and inventory levels.
- Coordinating with the purchasing team to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and supplies needed for production.
- Monitoring production processes to ensure quality standards are met and making necessary adjustments as needed.
- Overseeing the work of production staff and coordinating tasks between different teams such as design and manufacturing.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the production process.
- Maintaining accurate production records and creating reports on production performance and efficiency.
- Managing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of finished products.
Qualifications
- A diploma/ training in the carpentry field or 4+ years’ experience in a furniture manufacturing production environment
- Ability to read drawings from the design team
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills project
- management is also key
- Problem-solving skills: The ability to identify and solve problems in a fast-
- paced manufacturing environment is crucial for this position
- Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment
