A reputable company in the manufacturing of watches i.e. Caveman Watches is recruiting for the job position of a Graphic Designer.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Scope: The Graphic Designer at Caveman Watches will be responsible for managing the efficient workflow of the clients’ design, preparing rough drafts, presenting ideas, and bringing our customer’s visions to life by designing and customizing watch faces, dials, and other elements to create one-of-a-kind timepieces.  This role requires a strong ability to translate requirements into design, and the ability to coordinate various designs of the clients to ensure timely delivery and excellent customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Create personalized watch face designs that align with the brand aesthetic and customer expectations.
• Obtaining approval of product design concepts by preparing rough layouts for review.
•  Designing wall clocks’ rough layouts taking into consideration arrangement, size, type size, style, and related aesthetics.
• Work with the production team to ensure the feasibility of customized designs within manufacturing constraints.
• Utilize graphic design software to develop custom watch designs for clients and prepare mockup representations for review and production.
• Coordinating with craftsmen and marketing teams from the design concept phase through the completion of a project.
• Ensure that all customized watch designs maintain the brand’s visual identity and quality standards.
• Perform photo editing and manipulation for designs.
• Assisting the marketing team with creative representation of on-brand documents such as catalogs, proposals, presentations, packaging, and other designs for print and digital display to enable ease of assessment, reading, and understanding of information.

 PERSON SPECIFICATION

 Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• The ability to critically assess and analyze various elements and aspects of a design project, including its goals, target audience, aesthetics, and effectiveness to make informed decisions.
• The ability to strive to create designs that are unique and distinctive and the willingness to experiment with new techniques, styles, and technologies.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and innovative designs.
• Must be able to work with tight deadlines, manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and adapt the design process to meet project timelines.
• Strong desktop publishing tools and graphic design software to create, edit, and manipulate visual content for various media.
• Keen and perceptive ability to see and assess visual details, proportions, and overall aesthetics with a high level of accuracy.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and teams.
