Job Description

We are looking to hire a motivated and experienced finance professional to join our growing team in delivering managed IT & Information Security services to our clients across various industries.
The successful candidate will manage the Finance team and be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring the company’s financial health, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to lead and mentor a team.
Financial Reporting
- Full ownership of the numbers to ensure that they are accurately reported.
- To ensure the correct accounting treatment is adopted and enable clear reporting/analysis.
- Responsible for delivering best practice, in-depth reporting, and analysis to support day-to-day and strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the timely preparation and submission of monthly statutory returns – VAT, SSNIT, PAYE.
- To ensure all processes are fully documented and maintained within a Finance library. This will also involve producing training material as required.
- To ensure full and timely compliance with Accounting standards and Tax legislation.
- To embed Continuous Improvement methodology within Finance
Management Accounting
- Responsible for the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes and the review to actual results.
- Variance analysis and providing justification for unfavorable variances with mitigation plans.
- Work closely with Business Development Teams to provide required financial information and scrutinise and analyse costs, pricing, and sales results.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Cost centre analysis and reporting.
Financial Control Environment
- Responsible for the implementation, execution, and ongoing monitoring of the business control framework. This
- will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial statements.
- To ensure fit-for-purpose financial controls are implemented in Finance and across the organization.
- To continually monitor controls and risks and ensure new risks are addressed
- To challenge the business on financial risks and to influence control design.
Treasury
- Liaising and building relationships with financial institutions, vendors, and clients.
- Responsible for liquidity management across the business.
- Regular management of FX, treasury and trade finance products.
- Overseeing accurate and timely preparations of bank reconciliations.
Experience
- Experienced and accredited [ACCA/CIMA] finance professional with only first-time ACCA or CIMA passes qualified for more than 5 years.
- An all-round skill set of core finance skills including governance, controls & risk management, value management,
- performance management, reporting & accounting, treasury & tax.
- A master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Senior management role in Finance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- gv Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint Skills.
