Job Description:

We are recruiting for a construction and engineering firm located in Achimota and are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager. This role involves overseeing the maintenance and management of our facilities to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the facility, including maintenance and repairs
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
• Manage and coordinate with external vendors and service providers
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure standards are met
• Prepare and manage the facility budget
• Address and resolve any facility-related issues or emergencies
• Maintain accurate records of facility maintenance and repairs
• Implement and monitor energy efficiency initiatives
• Manage facility-related projects and renovations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of facility management and maintenance processes
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
• Proficiency in using facility management software
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management or a related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Facility Manager) are a plus
