DEPUTY HR MANAGER – DAWHENYA

Job Summary

The Deputy HR Manager will support the HR Manager in overseeing the HR department’s operations and ensuring that the company’s HR initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned with overall business objectives. This role involves managing employee relations, recruitment, performance management, training and development, and compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive work environment and manage employee relations issues.
  • Assist in developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and selection.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
  • Support the development and implementation of performance management systems.
  • Assist managers in setting performance standards and conducting appraisals.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Support the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports and metrics to inform decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an HR management or supervisory role.
  • Must have 3 – 5 years working experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
